We're looking for an Associate Director with TV planning experience to join the Client Services team at Kaimera, part of the Havas Media network. This role will be based in Kaimera's Surry Hills office.
About the role
The Associate Director role autonomously leads and manages the outputs of their team and clients, alongside their Director and/or the Chief Client Officer. They have full remit over client financial deliverables and outputs, as well as forecasting.
Often candidates have been or are looking to be an internal pillar leader. A candidate will likely have experience managing 3+ direct reports and their career planning. They are able to own their teams' roadmap and stretch themselves beyond their own stream to the wider agency.
The role must be able to create top-class, compelling rationale that drives strategy forward and inspires. They will represent Kaimera as an external spokesperson. Can demonstrate success leading large or complex areas that could have clear impact to the success of Kaimera.
You will also have the opportunity to work on pitches or new business work.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage the strategy, planning, and implementation across your assigned portfolio of clients.
Oversee the financial health of client accounts, including invoicing, reconciliation, and budget management.
Act as the technical expert and coach for direct reports, ensuring excellence in media process from start to finish.
Proactively anticipate client needs and lead initiatives that drive cross-pillar commercial solutioning and business growth.
What are we looking for?
COMMERCIAL ACUMEN: Can anticipate future trends and recommend changes to positively increase our commercial position. Can create a sound commercial strategy for multiple clients in multiple industries. Can manage entire budget process. Comfort in acting as an agency voice in commercial discussions with clients and partners.
CLIENT SERVICE: Has put in place and enforced processes which forces Kaimera to deliver above and beyond for their clients. Looks beyond their core clients to balance competing external demands and internal capacity. Is able to assemble and steer internal teams to service our clients with expert precision. Understands how to resolve themselves or when to involve senior management. Accountable for client NPS scores.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Ensures the right structures exist to empower ownership at the right level. Assumes ownership of all clients within their stream. Works laterally to encourage personal and organisational accountability between their team and other divisions.
TRUSTED RELATIONSHIPS: A confident people leader and people influencer. You have the trust of Kaimera leadership in managing high stakes external relationships, and assume accountability of internal team alignment.
TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE: Effectively links internal, client, and industry trends in emerging and aging tools, platforms and channels. Is proactive in lifting the capability across the agency, not just in their core function.
