About the Role

The Associate SDET is primarily responsible for understanding the software’s functionality and ensuring that automated tests run smoothly. They work under the guidance of senior members to learn the codebase and automation framework.

What you'll do: 

  • Write and maintain basic automated test scripts (UI and API) 
  • Execute manual tests when automation is not yet available
  • Document bugs with clear reproduction steps and collaborate with developers on fixes
  • Perform regression testing to ensure new code hasn't broken existing features

What you'll bring: 

  • Basic proficiency in a programming language (Java, Python, C#), familiarity with testing tools (Selenium, Playwright), and an understanding of the SDLC.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • Strong programming skills and experience with automation frameworks 
  • Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures 
  • A proactive mindset and passion for quality excellence
