Raytheon Shipboard Missiles, a sub strategic business unit within Naval Power, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Program Management Associate Director for the Standard Missile 3 Blk IIA (SM-3 Blk IIA) Under Layer Development contract. This is a highly visible program within both Raytheon and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
This position reports directly to the SM-3 IIA Associate Director for Development/DMSMS Programs and is responsible for executing this critical development contract on time and within the aggressive schedule needed by the customer. SM-3 Blk IIA is a critical munitions program, and this effort is the building block in capturing a key growth opportunity. This Leader will also be responsible for establishing priorities, optimizing performance and execution, supporting both internal and external customers, ensuring the development schedule supports multiple flight tests over the next 4 years, and ensuring the strong SM-3 culture is maintained.
This Leader's responsibilities include strengthening customer relationships, managing multiple IPTs across the country, program execution, and accountability for achieving results within needed timeline. Additionally, the SM-3 IIA Under Layer Associate Director will expand on the strong, collaborative nature of the team and work to drive continued improvement with respect to overall Raytheon performance. The SM-3 IIA Under Layer Associate Director has accountability for profit and loss, AOP and financial metrics.
This role leads a team with approximately 200-300 matrixed employees responsible for a $500M development effort over 4 years.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
