Associate Director, US Oncology HCP Campaign Development Lead (CDL)

The Associate Director, HCP Campaign Development Lead (CDL) will lead HCP engagement and experience efforts in partnership with the marketing strategy team. Design, execute, and optimize HCP-focused campaign tactics and digital channels to support product launches and ongoing commercial objectives. This role works cross-functionally with Brand, Commercial, Medical, Legal/Regulatory, Analytics, Agencies, and Operations to deliver compliant, measurable HCP programs that drive education, adoption, access, and channel engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the embedded HCP marketing lead on the marketing strategy team and translate strategy into actionable HCP tactics.
Develop, activate, and optimize integrated HCP campaigns across professional channels (digital, field materials, medical education, paid search to HCPs, HCP landing pages, clinician web content, specialty channels, etc.).
Define campaign objectives, target HCP segments, channel mix, timelines, measurement plans, and success criteria with Analytics.
Use market research, segmentation, and performance data to refine targeting, messaging, and campaign iteration.
Ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory/compliance alignment in all communications.
Partner with media/digital teams and agencies to plan channel strategy, optimize performance, and run test-and-learn programs.
Support media/channel budget planning and monitor spend versus performance.
Manage asset development using agile workflows: ideation, sprint delivery, med-legal review, deployment, measurement, and revalidation.
Oversee timelines, resource allocation, vendor deliverables, and production to ensure on-time, high-quality launches.
Coordinate Promotional Review Team (PRT) approvals and implement Safety Label Updates (SLUs) when required.
Lead day-to-day agency relationships and manage digital scopes of work, timelines, and budgets.
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
Required Experience & Skills:
Minimum 4 years in pharmaceutical marketing or commercial communications with HCP/channel or specialty therapeutics focus; oncology experience preferred.
Proven success in HCP campaign activation, digital channel strategy, and asset production in regulated environments.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management; ability to influence without authority.
Data-driven; experience using HCP insights and performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
Project and vendor management experience; familiarity with agile/scrum preferred.
Technical familiarity with Veeva/PromoMats, SAP, and common digital analytics tools preferred.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
US oncology, product launch planning, or HCP campaign development experience.
Media/channel budget planning and spend optimization.
Experience with Integrated Profit Plan preparation and TBR processes.
Expertise in HCP communications, clinical messaging, campaign measurement & optimization, and digital strategy.
Regulatory/compliance awareness and strong stakeholder influence skills.
Adaptability, initiative, and collaborative mindset.

Additional qualifications:
Independent, decisive thinker who performs well under ambiguity and tight timelines.
Working knowledge of website/CMS best practices, landing-page conversion fundamentals, and applicable AI use cases for HCP engagement (content personalization, AI-assisted analytics, clinician chat/virtual assistants, automated literature surveillance).
Track record of integrating emerging digital capabilities into HCP engagement strategies.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$142,400.00 - $224,100.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
