Job Description

Goal: Position Learning & Development as a strategic enabler of leadership effectiveness, organizational capability, and business priorities across EEI.

 

The EEI Learning & Development Lead is responsible for shaping and advancing a cohesive L&D agenda that strengthens leadership capability, supports functional excellence, and fosters a strong learning culture across the organization.

 

Operating in close partnership with the Managing Director and the Leadership Team, this role ensures that learning priorities are closely connected to the business agenda and leadership rhythm. Beyond designing and delivering learning solutions, the role plays a key part in enabling effective leadership forums by bringing structure, continuity, and follow‑through to leadership discussions and outcomes.

 

The role acts as a trusted partner to senior leaders, translating strategic direction and recurring leadership themes into focused capability‑building initiatives, while promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment across functions and countries.

Primary Responsibilities

Learning & Development Strategy and Capability Building

  • Partner with the Managing Director and EEI Leadership Team to define clear L&D priorities aligned with business strategy and leadership focus areas.

  • Identify organizational and functional capability gaps in collaboration with Country Leads and Function Heads and translate them into targeted development initiatives through both internal and external resources.

  • Design and implement learning experiences that support employees in achieving their business objectives and strengthening performance.

  • Promote modern, practical learning approaches, balancing structured programs with experiential and peer‑to‑peer learning.

  • Champion a strong learning culture across EEI, reinforcing continuous development and shared ownership of capability building.

Leadership Enablement and Business Rhythm

  • Enable effective leadership forums by supporting the preparation, structure, and documentation of key LT discussions and strategic sessions.

  • Capture key decisions, priorities, and actions, ensuring clarity and structured follow‑up across leadership cycles.

Collaboration, Culture, and Onboarding

  • Foster cross‑functional collaboration and knowledge sharing by leveraging internal subject matter expertise and peer learning.

  • Embed the organization’s values, including Rise together, into learning initiatives and leadership behaviors.

  • Lead the evolution of onboarding experiences to ensure new hires are integrated effectively and equipped for success.

  • Maintain and continuously improve digital learning and onboarding resources to support ongoing development.
