MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Inventory Operations:

  • Lead and manage Malaysia Third Party Logistic (3PL) warehouse inventory operations.

  • Drive inventory management capabilities and operational efficiency, leading to improved accuracy, reduced losses, and optimized stock levels.

  • Assess readiness for upcoming changes, identify gaps in inventory processes, and create/implement action plans.

  • Provide field support on stock acceptance, discrepancies, returns, and adjustments.

  • Develop effective relationships with 3PL warehouse teams and industry stakeholders to strengthen inventory practices.

  • Build knowledge of inventory flows and market insights to support effective decision-making on stock levels, service, and cost trade-offs.


Inventory Management:

  • Oversee stock counts, cycle counts, and day-to-day inventory operations.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy across systems and physical stock, minimizing variances.

  • Support demand & supply planning with timely and accurate inventory data.


Compliance and Continuous Improvement Plans:

  • Ensure all inventory operations comply with legal/statutory regulations and professional obligations.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize accuracy, efficiency, and value.

  • Plan and manage the inventory budget, including P&L accountability.

KEY STAKEHOLDERS

  • Internal - Demand & Supply Planning team, Logistics, Customer Development.

  • External - Third-party logistics (3PL) Warehouses, industry stakeholders.


 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • At least 2 years of Experience specialized in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain operations.

  • Skilled in managing 3PL relationships and ensuring service delivery.

  • Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Well-developed people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
