JOB PROFILE
Purpose of the Role
- Responsible for managing warehouse and transportation operational activities to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective operations.
- The role works closely with cross-functional teams and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners to drive end-to-end operational efficiency, cost savings, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Warehousing capabilities and operational efficiency to deliver cost savings, service level improvement, and warehouse loss reduction.
- Assess business readiness for upcoming changes, identify gaps, and develop and implement action plans.
- Provide field support for transportation, goods acceptance, rejection, and returns.
- Lead and manage warehouse stock counts, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Manage day-to-day inventory operations, ensuring proper application of FIFO / LIFO principles.
- Prepare and manage write-off proposals and stock adjustment recommendations.
- Drive warehouse and transportation improvements through process standardization, innovation, digitalization, and best practices.
- Lead and support saving and cost optimization projects related to warehouse and distribution operations.
- Support special projects that deliver gross margin improvement and cost efficiency.
- Ensure all warehouse and distribution activities comply with legal, statutory, regulatory, and insurance requirements.
- Manage daily coordination and negotiation with 3PL partners on ad-hoc operational requirements.
- Conduct monthly service level and KPI reviews with 3PL providers.
- Ensure 3PL operations fully comply with Unilever standards, policies, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Diploma or Certificate in Warehouse Management / Logistics.
- Working knowledge of SAP with strong advanced Excel skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations in FMCG Business
- Proven experience in 3PL relationship management.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
