What you'll do:

As an Assistant Vice President, Senior Automation Engineer , you will be involved in building automation solutions that transform how infrastructure is managed within a complex banking environment. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, coding scalable solutions using modern frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration between various enterprise platforms. By leveraging on your deep technical expertise in SRE practices and Infrastructure as Code methodologies, you will help eliminate repetitive operational tasks while driving improvements in standardisation, resilience, and reliability. Your contributions will be vital in supporting the organisation’s commitment to operational excellence by enabling intelligent operations through AI-Ops frameworks and robust API integrations. Success in this role requires you to have good understanding of various infrastructure technologies along with a very hands-on capabilities to code .

  • Work in a team or as an individual contributor to deliver comprehensive automation solutions that span across wide range of infrastructure technologies .
  • Lead transversal automation initiatives aimed at streamlining server lifecycle management, configuration processes, drift management , and automated remediation workflows.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to reduce manual interventions while enhancing platform stability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate build processes, configuration management, and deployment activities across diverse technology stacks.
  • Create and maintain advanced AI-Ops and automation frameworks that enable intelligent operations and event-driven remediation for critical systems.
  • Integrate API-based automation workflows seamlessly across various enterprise tools to ensure cohesive process orchestration and data flow.
  • Work on technologies such as Qualys, MECM ,Ansible, Dynatrace and ServiceNow to achieve holistic end-to-end automation.
  • Automate server build designs including operating system deployments and post-build configurations to support rapid scaling needs.

What you bring:

To excel as an Assistant Vice President, Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer , you will bring a wealth of proven experience from banking or financial services technology settings where precision, compliance, and reliability are essential. Your background should include hands-on experience in delivery of complex automation initiatives that have improved operational efficiency at scale. In addition to your technical mastery of SRE concepts and Infrastructure as Code practices supported by advanced programming abilities you will possess strong interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration across geographically dispersed teams. Your adaptability ensures you remain current with evolving technologies while your attention to detail supports the creation of secure, resilient systems. A proactive mindset combined with clear communication abilities will allow you to navigate challenges smoothly while contributing positively to team objectives.

  • Extensive experience working within Banking or Financial Services Technology environments where regulatory compliance and security are paramount.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering large-scale automation projects across infrastructure landscape.
  • Expert-level proficiency (L3) in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Advanced programming skills (L3) in Python, PowerShell, and Javasript etc  for developing custom scripts and integrating diverse systems efficiently.
  • Solid understanding (L2) of API integration techniques along with hands-on experience using DevOps tools for continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Deep expertise (L2) with Windows and Unix Server administration, Ansible, MECM , as well as JSON/YAML scripting formats.
  • Self-motivated approach with the capacity to work independently under minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Openness to ongoing learning with a willingness to adapt quickly; industry certifications or project references are considered advantageous.
