Job Summary:

As a Sales Executive at HKEX, you will support the promotion and marketing of financial products across derivatives and cash markets. This role involves assisting senior sales managers in client relationship management, event planning, sales reporting, lead generation, and market research. You will engage closely with front-office professionals, traders, and portfolio managers, gaining exposure to the dynamic world of financial markets.

We are looking for a proactive individual with strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to identify opportunities and follow up systematically.

Job Duties:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Support in maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  • Assist in identifying and engaging potential clients to expand the client base.
  • Understand client needs and help deliver tailored solutions.

2. Product Knowledge

  • Develop a solid understanding of HKEX products, including futures, options, and other listed instruments.
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory updates, and industry developments.
  • Assist in educating clients on product benefits and applications

3. Sales & Business Development

  • Support senior managers in promoting HKEX products to institutional investors, hedge funds, asset managers, brokers, and trading firms.
  • Help prepare compelling sales pitches in collaboration with Product teams.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities.

4. Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor market performance, trading volumes, and liquidity trends.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and track pricing strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market insights.

5. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards in all client interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of financial markets and derivatives.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including macros), data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (Cantonese is an advantage).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient with Bloomberg applications.
