Job Summary: The United States Attorney's Office (USAO) for the Southern District of Georgia is seeking applications from experienced attorneys or those who will be an active member of a bar association prior to entry on duty to fill an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) vacancy within the Civil Division in either the Savannah or Augusta, Georgia office. This is an open announcement that will remain open until filled or 5/22/2026.

Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Applicants must possess a J.D. degree (or equivalent) and be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction) by their entry on duty date. Law school graduates and current law students taking a July 2026 bar examination may be considered, subject to the foregoing requirements. United States citizenship is required. You must meet all qualification requirements upon the closing date of this announcement.
