Your Role: Technical Sales Manager – Poultry Nutrition & Animal Health
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and customer engagement across the assigned territory by promoting Elanco’s animal health and nutrition solutions. In this role, you will support poultry farms, feed mills, and key accounts through technical consultation, relationship management, and strategic sales activities to improve customer performance and expand market presence.
Your Responsibilities:
• Drive sales growth and customer retention by promoting Elanco products, programs, and technical solutions across the assigned territory.
• Provide technical support and nutrition management guidance to poultry farms and feed mills, including troubleshooting, feed reformulation, vaccination, and farm management recommendations.
• Conduct product trials, organize farmer meetings and technical seminars, and educate customers on nutrition and animal health solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular field visits and ongoing technical consultation.
• Support market expansion initiatives by identifying new business opportunities, reporting market trends, and training sales teams on technical product knowledge.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in animal health, poultry nutrition, technical sales, or related commercial roles.
• Strong technical communication and customer relationship management skills.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
• MBA, management diploma, or equivalent business qualification.
• Experience working with a global animal health organization or leading local company.
• Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of poultry farm operations, feed formulation, and government regulatory systems.
• Experience in animal health, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, or food chain industries.
Additional Information:
• Travel: Frequent travel within assigned territory required.
