Job Description Summary

The Assistant Workplace Leads primary role is to deliver workplace support services and excellent customer service, to ensure an exceptional workplace experience for BHP residents, visitors, and VIP guests and to take instruction on workplace tasks as directed by the Senior Workplace Lead.

About the role:

  • Lead and foster a high-performance service culture, ensuring client commitments and service standards are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Provide coaching, development, and performance management, including training plans, certifications, and regular one-on-one engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and training requirements, maintaining up-to-date certifications and fair access to development opportunities.
  • Drive exceptional customer service delivery, overseeing front-of-house standards, visitor management, communications, and escalation handling.
  • Manage concierge and workplace operations, including rostering, scripts, audits, task coordination, and daily service readiness.
  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver workplace projects and initiatives, supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee facility coordination and presentation standards, working with cleaning contractors, facilities teams, and conducting daily floor walks.
  • Support and coordinate meetings, VIP events, and leadership engagements, managing vendors, staffing coverage, and after-hours requirements.
  • Manage mailroom and distribution operations, ensuring timelines, procedures, and documentation are maintained.
  • Continuously review, innovate, and improve workplace systems and processes, while providing operational backfill and building team capability for future growth.

  • Very strong hospitality / customer service skills delivered at a corporate site
  • Team management experience
  • Exposure to Facility Management Services
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must have strong time management skills
  • Strong administration and PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong contractor management experience
  • Self-motivated and flexible
