This position is responsible for assisting Sales Manager in planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the sales department and in measuring the performance of the employees in the department
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide coverage when Sales Managers are not available.
Assists in forecasting goals and objectives for sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
Assists salespersons in setting goals and objectives and coaches’ employees to achieve goals.
Assists managers in recruitment, training development and monitors the performance of the sales staff.
Ensures effective communication within the department and interdepartmentally.
Creates a customer focused environment and continuously strives to improve the customer satisfaction ratings.
Ensures that customer complaints are handled promptly and effectively and works closely with the customer to settle disputes.
Greets customers ensuring optimum customer services and assist team with closing customer deals.
Prepare documents, reports etc. as required.
Other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a sales role in vehicle retail sales including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
OMVIC certification
Valid drivers license and clean abstract
Proficient with the following computer environments: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills in order to resolve customer issues.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.

Earnings Potential: $80,000-$130,000 (dependent on performance-based commissions and bonuses)
