POSITION SPECIFICS
The Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill an Assistant Research Professor position in the area high-energy neutrino astrophysics. The successful candidate will lead phenomenological and data-driven research efforts in the astrophysics of ultra-high energy neutrinos, cosmic rays, and dark matter. Additionally, this position involves close and constant collaboration with existing experimental efforts at Penn State including IceCube, as well as other radio detection techniques and next generation neutrino experiments.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics, materials or device physics. Applications must be submitted electronically and include a cover letter, CV and statement of research interests.
