FacultyJob Duties:
Provide subspecialty interventional radiology procedures and consultation, delivering evidence based image guided care across a broad range of conditions.
Perform image guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including oncology interventions, complex venous and arterial interventions, portal hypertension procedures, and women’s health interventions.
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans including appropriate follow up and coordination of care.
Complete timely and accurate documentation of procedures and patient encounters to support continuity of care and billing requirements.
Utilize advanced imaging and interventional technologies to support clinical care and innovation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncology, transplant, vascular surgery, hepatology, trauma, and surgical services to support patient care and treatment planning.
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, departmental meetings, seminars, and faculty activities as permitted by clinical and academic responsibilities.
Instruct and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and educational settings; provide coaching appropriate to the learner’s level and evaluate learner performance.
Engage in scholarly activity, clinical research, and quality improvement efforts aligned with the missions of the Department.

Required Qualifications:
Education: MD or DO (or equivalent).
This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
Certifications/Licenses:
ABR CAQ certified/eligible in Interventional Radiology.
Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri.
Work Experience:
Completion of ACGME-accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship.
