Job Description

Job Summary:

Applied Music: Voice.

Work Performed: 

•     Teaching Voice at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

•     Actively recruit voice students.

•     Meet school, college and university standards in instructional responsibilities, intellectual and creative contributions, and professional service.

•     Teach related courses as needed to meet faculty load requirements. 

•     Serve as requested on school, college, and university committees and in leadership positions in community and professional organizations.  

Necessary Qualifications

•     Doctorate level in Voice performance. 

•     Professional-level competency as vocalist.

•     Evidence of successful recruiting and teaching.

•     The ability to creatively engage students in the studio.

•     Active participation in professional organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

•     At least two years of previous college-level teaching are preferred.

•     A low voice (Baritone, Bass) is preferred.
