The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant Professor of Supply
Chain Management, Lee Business School [R0151267].
The Lee Business School invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management with an expected start date of July 1, 2027. This position is housed in the Department of Marketing & International Business in the dual-AACSB-accredited Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
The successful candidate is expected to develop and sustain a strong research agenda leading to publications in premier peer-reviewed journals on supply chain management and related fields. Emerging research areas may include supply chain resilience, sustainability, digital and AI-driven logistics, procurement innovation, global supply chain strategy, or related topics.
Responsibilities also include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management and marketing management; contributing to curriculum development as determined by the department needs; participating in departmental, college, and university service; and collaborating with faculty to advance the department’s research and teaching mission.
The Department of Marketing & International Business supports approximately 220 Marketing majors and 80 International Business majors and emphasizes the integration of rigorous scholarship with contemporary business practice in global markets.
Lee Business School is among the top 2 percent of business colleges and schools worldwide to hold international dual accreditation in business and accounting by AACSB International.
As one of the largest schools at UNLV with approximately 4,500 undergraduate students, 500 graduate students, more than 140 faculty and staff, and 25,500+ alumni, Lee Business School offers 10 undergraduate majors, 12 minors, and seven graduate degree programs. This position requires a doctoral degree in supply chain management, operations management, marketing, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). ABDs may be considered, but credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
Candidates should demonstrate strong methodological training and the potential to develop and maintain a focused research agenda resulting in publications in premier journals. Applicants must also demonstrate the ability to teach courses in supply management and marketing effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels and deliver courses in both classroom and online formats.
Preference will be given to candidates with publications in leading business journals, expertise in emerging research areas of supply chain management or related marketing fields, and evidence of teaching effectiveness and strong communication skills.
