Summary of Job Duties:

The successful candidate will teach 12 credit hours per academic semester, across the BSW curriculum and active/ongoing participation with the department’s CSWE Reaffirmation process. In addition, they will be expected to provide both academic and professional advisement to BSW students, participate in university and community service, develop and implement an active research agenda, and demonstrate a commitment to the BSW Program’s mission and values.


Qualifications:

An MSW degree from a CSWE accredited program and a minimum of two years post-master’s social work practice experience in social services settings. An LMSW or LCSW, and be eligible for licensing in Arkansas. Experience working with diverse populations. A minimum of two years college teaching experience, preferably in a BSW or MSW program, including face to face, online and hybrid formats. Preference will be given to those candidates who have a deep understanding of generalist practice baccalaureate social work education and current CSWE accreditation standards (2022 EPAS).
