Assistant Product Manager

This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Portfolio development– Support evaluation and onboarding of new vendors and packaging solutions at a global and regional level; work with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial, operational, and quality objectives are met

Project management – Drive management and execution of specific packaging-specific initiatives including product launches, operational enhancements, and vendor change implementation

Portfolio support– Create and maintain key resources used to position packaging products with customers, including technical, operational, and marketing documentation

Account support – Provide second-line support to key customers, working closely with Sales and Customer Services to offer technical and subject matter area input

Skills: Essential

• Systems thinking mindset with the ability to understand and optimize interconnected deliverables and processes
• Independent problem-solver who can take ownership of specific deliverables and drive progress where detailed step by step instructions don’t exist
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; can convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
• Ability to build strong relationships across global teams and different organizational functions
• Analytical, with a structured, data-driven approach to decision-making
• Comfort working in a fast-moving logistics environment and adapting to evolving priorities

Skills: Nice to have

• Understands data and software management processes; can interface with IT and data science teams
• Understanding of GMP, GDP, and the pharma development life cycle

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: Extensive proven experience in product management, product marketing, project management, operations management, or a related role; experience with physical products, healthcare, or packaging is a plus.
