The College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) includes undergraduate and graduate degrees in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, computer science, and artificial intelligence. The mission of the College is to provide students with a high-value education that emphasizes the fundamentals of their disciplines. CEC invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level in the field of Computer Science. We are looking for a passionate educator who can engage students in the practical, theoretical, and technical aspects of computer science. The start date could be in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required at the time of hire. No pre-employment sponsorship is authorized for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a tenure track position with an emphasis on delivering high-quality instruction and preparing students for Computer Science/Information Technology based roles in industry. Teaching load will be 3 courses per long semester, comprising in-person, online, and hybrid classes. We are a student-success driven university, and faculty keep regular office hours.
