Assistant Manager – Projects

Job responsibilities

  • Should have at-least 10 to 15 years of experience in the civil aviation industry with expertise customer handling, operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Should have proven experience in leading teams, driving failure investigation and conduct Root Cause analysis using various (RRCA) tools like fishbone diagram, the 5 WHY method, pareto chart etc.. on process turnback’s & process improvement and ensuring adherence to regularity requirements Insightful monitoring of monthly organizational targets.

  • Review and maintain data in ERP related to process escapes, yield tracking and improvement, MRO repair & maintenance activities.

  • Knowledge on Aerospace standards (AS9100D) & QMS.

  • Should have worked on developing the MRO certification plan & liaise with Certification Bodies (EASA, FAA, CAA, DGCA) during the certification, surveillance, and recertification audits, facilitating third-party audit schedules. project schedule, resource plan and project budget with the project team.

  • Should have worked on tracking recurring and non-recurring costs.

  • Monitor contract performance KPI’s

  • Train & mentor, the team on projects and deliverables to ensure on time deliveries, cost and quality in day-to-day activities.

  • Need to Identify Risks, develop mitigation plans and follow up. Knowledge and Skill:

  • Working with multi-cultural background

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Experienced in Aircraft maintenance & Engineering.

  • Experience in Project Management tools like Microsoft Project.

  • Good understanding of Operations and Project Management.

  • PMP Certification - will be an added advantage.

  • Comprehensive knowledge on Customer Contracts / Agreements.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in data visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI and google data studio.

  • Lean Tools and concepts

  • Practical problem-solving skills.

  • Incident Investigation

  • Effectively leadership, problem-solving, team management and decision-making skill.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

COMMUNICATIONS/INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

Good verbal, presentation and technical writing skills.

Demonstrated ability to be a team player and a willingness to lend a hand with any project.

Qualifications:

  • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering

  • Master’s in business administration
