Assistant Manager Production

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise manufacturing and dispensing operations to achieve production plans efficiently.

  • Maximize resource utilization and improve key performance indicators.

  • Maintain and update production visual boards; ensure timely revision of batch manufacturing records (BMR).

  • Implement GSK Production System (GPS) and Operational Excellence (OE) practices.

  • Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Provide training on new SOPs, maintain records, and ensure timely training compliance.

  • Participate in change control processes, meetings, and provide valuable insights.

  • Ensure 100% compliance with SOPs and maintain an inspection-ready state at all times.

  • Conduct risk assessments and EHS audits; strengthen the safety culture, including LOTO application.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharm-D, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production operations

  • Experience in a Compliance role

  • Experience assessing individual and team performance

  • Auditing experience preferred

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
