Assistant Manager - Planning & Reporting

The candidate would be responsible to drive key deliverables in relation to financial reporting, analysis, Budgeting/Forecasting and Client reporting at APAC level in collaboration with APAC Regional / Market Teams, Group FP&A and Group FAR teams.

The candidate will be part of Regional PRCoE (Planning & Reporting Centre of Excellence) team based out of Bangalore. As part of this role, the candidate will be required to work across a broad stakeholder group in the APAC region to drive group/regional reporting & FP&A requirements.

Job Description:

• Manage key deliverables during month close process as per agreed timelines along with ensuring delivery of quality results to key stakeholders (Regional Finance team and Group FP&A teams.

• Supporting APAC Region & Markets in budget, quarterly & monthly forecast submission and challenging markets on assumptions, appropriate use of account lines, brands, functions, segments, and classification of exceptional items.

• Partner with Group FP&A teams to drive analytics, compliance, quality, and timeliness in month-end reporting.

• Assist in preparing periodic (monthly/quarterly/annual) reporting packs submission and review of the same including performance dashboards & presentations.

• Monitoring & providing solutions on the Forecast & Budget reporting and data modelling to analyze the movements.

• Identify automation requirements and collaborate with CI team to help deliver automation solutions.

• Manage ad hoc requests from APAC Regional & Market team, cascade crucial information to markets, and drive compliance.

• Also as part of PRCoE team we will have to do testing / UAT of new developments, maintain QA checks on existing reports & inter-alia also help out in creating dashboards as & when needed.

Professional Requirements

CA/CMA with a minimum of 4 years experience / B.Com with minimum of 9 years experience in Captive shared services /Industry handling accounting, financial analysis, planning & reporting.
