Assistant Manager

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Insurance Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to manage Affinity New Business operations.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Lead daily team operations by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, setting priorities, and ensuring achievement of key performance metrics.
  • Communicate clearly and provide timely, high‑quality information to support effective decision‑making.
  • Set and manage performance expectations, give consistent monthly feedback, address issues proactively, and recognize strong performance. Coach and develop team members by assessing strengths, supporting development plans, delegating effectively, and empowering staff.
  • Collaborate with Operations, L&D, and team members to resolve escalations, support training initiatives, and drive continuous process improvement and cost efficiencies.

Required Qualifications: 

  • 1–2 years of leadership experience in a team lead, SME, or OIC capacity within an operations or customer‑focused environment.
  • Skilled in capacity planning, with working proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation skills for communicating data and recommendations effectively.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Amenable to work on fixed night shift

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools 
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to diverse audiences. 
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a work environment
