Are you passionate about growing Singapore’s media industry and driving international opportunities for local talent and content?
The Media Industry Group (MIG) at the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) is looking for a proactive and results-driven Assistant Manager / Manager to join our Marketing team.
In this role, you will support marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen Singapore’s presence in international media markets, while serving as the key liaison between MIG and IMDA’s Communications Division.
[What you will be working on]
1.Marketing
- Execute B2B Marketing Campaigns – Implement targeted marketing initiatives to promote Singapore’s media sector globally.
- Content & Asset Promotion – Support the creation and distribution of marketing assets, including brochures, presentations and digital content to showcase Singapore’s media offerings.
- Marketing Collateral Development – Assist in developing B2B marketing materials for local and international markets.
- Social Media Management – Plan, manage and schedule content across key platforms in alignment with marketing objectives and campaigns.
- Performance Tracking – Track campaign effectiveness and audience engagement to optimise marketing outcomes.
2. Communications
- Primary Point of Contact with IMDA’s Communications and Marketing Division (CMD) - Serve as the key liaison between MIG and CMD on all press, media and communications matters.
- Press & Media Management – Coordinate and clear all press releases, media materials and announcements with CMD before release.
- Internal & External Content Governance – Manage the circulation, release and dissemination of MIG-related content for internal stakeholders, management and external audiences.
- IMDA Social Media Alignment – Work closely with MIG and CMD on what will be featured across IMDA’s corporate social media channels.
- Messaging & Narrative Support – Support the crafting of clear, compelling and audience-appropriate messaging across platforms.
3. Brand
- Brand Consistency – Support the execution of brand messaging across digital, social and physical platforms.
- Brand Implementation – Work with branding agencies to execute approved brand strategies, positioning and content creation.
- Festivals & International Branding – Support branding efforts for Singapore Media Festival (SMF) and key international industry events.
4. Event Management
- Industry Events & Trade Shows – Support the planning and execution of Singapore’s participation at international trade shows, festivals and networking events.
- Cross-Functional Coordination – Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Timeline & Deliverables Management – Stay on top of schedules, dependencies and outcomes across multiple workstreams.
[What we are looking for]
- Experience – 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications or PR, preferably within media, entertainment or related industries.
- Strong Communications Expertise – Proven experience managing press materials, messaging, media coordination and organisational content governance.
- Social Media & Content Experience – Hands-on experience with social media management, content planning and audience engagement.
- Excellent Writing & Storytelling – Strong writing, editing and narrative development skills across marketing and communications formats.
- Digital & Marketing Knowledge – Good understanding of digital marketing, content strategy and audience growth.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration – Ability to work effectively across divisions and with senior stakeholders.
- Agency Management – Experience managing creative, marketing or PR agencies will be an advantage.
- Event & Project Support – Experience supporting large-scale events, forums and industry platforms.
- Data & Performance Mindset – Ability to track performance metrics and draw insights; knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) is a plus
