[What the role is]
The 3P Network Division (3PND) of NEA develops and integrates educational and publicity initiatives and programmes for the 3P (People, Public, Private) sectors. This ensures greater synergy and effectiveness in our outreach programmes to promote greater environmental sustainability. Through the planning and organizing of partnership programmes and activities/events, 3PND also aims to raise awareness of environmental issues in the community and to equip them with the skills and knowledge to take ownership of the environment.
The Community Engagement & Planning Department (CEPD) is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is passionate about the environment and enjoy working closely with the community to develop and implement outreach programmes on environmental and sustainability topics.
[What you will be working on]
Key job duties include:
- Conceptualise and implement engagement and outreach platforms/ programmes to promote environmental ownership amongst students
- Engage key education bodies, educational institutions to promote and co-develop values-based education curriculum, activities, and programmes for the young
- Engage and groom teachers and students on environmental sustainability capabilities
- Identify and facilitate ground-up initiatives to encourage volunteerism amongst students
- Execute and manage multiple initiatives/ programmes under national environmental sustainability and public health campaigns.
- Administer the funding provided to schools for environmental initiatives/ activities.
