JOB PURPOSE

To support accurate and timely reporting, deliver meaningful performance insights to senior management and ensure full compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

- Support the month-end financial closing process and post-closing analysis to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information.

- Prepare and analyse business unit performance, providing insights to support management decision-making.

- Monitor and report key financial and performance indicators across business segments.

- Prepare management reports and presentation materials for management and board committee meetings, ensuring consistency and accuracy of reported figures.

- Coordinate with external auditors by providing financial information and supporting documentation and assisting in the resolution of audit matters.

- Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis against prior period, budgets and forecasts.

- Handle ad-hoc requests and queries as required.

- Assist the team lead in managing day-to-day operations and driving process improvements within the function.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Accountancy or a related professional qualification

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

  • Disciplined, trustworthy, and professional

  • Positive attitude with good interpersonal and teamwork skills
