The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of projects, programmes, and events. This role focuses on operational delivery, stakeholder management and ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of the Lien Fellowship programme, in line with NCPA and University strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Implementation
Participate in all aspects of project planning and implementation.
Assist in managing multiple projects ensuring project scopes, tracking milestones, deliverables, and adhering to budget requirements and deadlines.
Coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Preparation of progress reports for reporting to different stakeholders, updating of project status, developments and outcomes.
Manage project management life cycle documentations.
Programme Administration
Support the administration and implementation of programmes and initiatives of the Fellowship programme.
Provide write-up for various projects, events and website updates.
Assist in the production of publications and online newsletters.
Maintain accurate records, databases, and programme documentation.
Coordinate logistics and communications for programme activities.
Prepare purchase requests, invoices and financial documentation.
Ensure adherence to University’s processes and guidelines.
Event Planning & Coordination
Assist in planning and organizing events such as workshops, seminars, and corporate functions.
Coordinate logistics including venue booking, vendors, materials, and registrations.
Facilitate communication and follow ups across stakeholders including vendors, partners and participants.
Coordinate on-site event and troubleshooting.
Conduct post-event evaluations and feedback collection.
Requirements:
A recognised Bachelor’s degree in media studies, public and business management, or other relevant social sciences/humanities disciplines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in English is required and proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage to effectively engage and communicate with stakeholders and participants who are Chinese-speaking, as the Programme involves collaboration with counterparts in both Singapore and China.
Solid organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage multiple tasks, and pay attention to detail.
Experience in project management and digital media is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with relevant social media platforms.
