BACKGROUND

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing legal team. The resource will work closely with the legal team and business stakeholders at all levels of the company and will be key in creating processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team, facilitate change, and control costs. The resource shall be required to take charge of reporting and data management for our legal team.

This is a generalist role that involves managing and supporting projects across the full range of subject matter supported by the legal team. The resource must be able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs and must be proactive in identifying areas of need and generating action plans.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and assist in the corporate secretarial matters of a private limited company along with the corporate secretarial matters cross borders.
  • Support in the preparation of legal documentation.
  • Support and monitor the contract lifecycle management process.
  • Daily tracking of regulatory changes and important developments
  • Assistance in the corporate secretarial matters of a private limited company.
  • Compilation of data and maintenance of trackers relating to legal and corporate secretarial processes.
  • Preparing of periodic reporting including dashboard of legal and secretarial team's processes and initiatives.
  • Record Management
  • Collaboration with Cross functional teams
  • Assist with functional budgeting and vendor payment management.
  • Support Ad hoc projects.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Any graduate with minimum work experience of 3-4 years working in a corporate environment, preferably from legal domain or Qualified Company Secretary having 1 -2 years of experience in corporate secretarial and / or legal domain
  • Relevant experience in profile of handling administrative work such as maintaining dashboards, reports, trackers etc. in services industry/ law firms (preferred)
  • High competence in using MS Excel (including functionalities like V-Look Up, H-Look Up, Pivot, Conditional Formatting etc.), MS PowerPoint, MS Access and MS Word
  • Demonstrated ability to independently move projects forward by gaining the support needed from others while working in a cross-functional role
  • Strong experience in developing, implementing, and using legal department technology solutions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Excellent typing skills and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and having a structured approach
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work and solve problems independently and be able to work in a fast-paced and high performance environment
  • Strong organization and processing skills
