Job Purpose:
To support Investment Operation and Administration with day-to-day operation and assist in execution and implementation of approved plans/initiatives in respect of company’s Investment Linked Product.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Investment Linked trades Execute investment trades for investment-linked products with Asset Management Companies (AMCs) Mutual Fund units on timely basis using report from the Company system (Life Asia/AS400). Ensure accurate and complete updates to Investment system (Hiportfolio).
- Daily Unit Reconciliation Carry out daily unit reconciliations of policyholder units with AMC asset units on daily basis including custodian report.
- Unit Price Validation Input unit prices for reasonableness and input unit prices into the Company system and ensure unit prices are delivered by AMC as per the Service Agreement
- Monitor fund transactions Monitor discrepancies in fund transactions, unit reconciliations, and pricing to prevent errors and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor, maintenance and fund information such as fund factsheet, annual report and fund calendar in the Company system. Collaborate with Asset Management Companies to ensure effective communication of fund information and any announcement to relevant departments
- Maintain and update Investment Operation SOP and Procedure including any memorandum or internal policies related with Investment Linked Fund.
- Support new enhancement, new mutual fund or product launches including performing UAT and LMTs project.
- Prepare Management Information Reporting
- Special assignments from Line manager
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in investment operations, financial reporting, or asset management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong attention to details
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in English for professional business communication, both written and verbal
