Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting Support
- Assist in preparing IFRS 17 financial reporting, including monthly, half-year, and year-end financial statements.
- Support preparation of statutory reporting and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare preliminary analysis and commentary on financial performance for review by the Manager.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data submission to Prudential group finance and other stakeholders.
Process & System Enhancement
- Support initiatives to improve reporting processes, systems, and tools.
- Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, and IT teams to enhance data quality and automation.
Governance & Control
- Maintain documentation and assist in implementing effective control processes.
- Support audit readiness and liaise with auditors for information requests.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Manager and team members to foster a high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance to junior staff where necessary.
Ad-hoc Projects
- Participate in special projects requiring financial reporting and analysis expertise.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) or progress towards one is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards (IFRS 17 experience is an advantage).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.

- Experience with process improvement and automation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
