Overview:
This Assistant Manager role is crucial for driving the growth of Personal Financial Services Islamic (PFS-i) products by developing and executing comprehensive online and offline marketing strategies. The position spans product marketing, digital optimization (SEO), campaign management, and distribution channel engagement, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals, compliance, and budget accountability.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Digital Growth
Identify growth opportunities and develop online and offline marketing initiatives/programs for potential segments to drive incremental deposit and asset financing growth for PFS-i products.
Drive and manage onsite and offsite Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with the purpose of increasing/optimizing organic contribution, promoting brand awareness, engaging new audiences, increasing visibility, and generating leads to the website.
Develop marketing programs to promote awareness, customer acquisition, activation, engagement, product holdings ratio, and retention.
Adopt action-triggered remarketing campaigns to minimize outflow through cross-selling and upselling to support overall PFS-i products.
Lead, develop, and execute marketing strategy and initiatives across all digital media channels from concept to launch.
Continuously identify key trends, development, and new opportunities for PFS-i to acquire new customers online and enhance customers’ experience.
Execution, Analytics & Budget
Analyze consumer behavior and modify advertising efforts as needed.
Drive periodic and consistent sharing of analytics on the effectiveness of all marketing activities, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
Work with strategic supports and external vendors/partners to execute key initiatives and ensure all campaign fulfillment services are in place.
Plan and be accountable for the marketing drive calendar and approved Advertising & Promotions (A&P) budget, ensuring funds are used effectively.
Handle procurement of premiums and campaign gift items.
Execute brand-related ground events, such as product launches, sponsorships, and partnerships.
Work with other products (Deposit, Financing, Wealth, Bancassurance, Will Writing) and provide “product push” support in their respective growth or customer engagement initiatives.
Distribution Channel Management & Compliance
Establish regular engagement with distribution channels (e.g., branches, business centers, and priority banking centers) nationwide to identify sales gaps.
Develop the appropriate toolkits and execute training to close the gaps.
Develop and manage all incentive programs.
Act as the distribution channel’s primary point of contact for all inbound questions and issues relating to operations, processes, products, customer feedback/questions, etc.
Online Brand guardian for all digital communication under PFS-i.
Ensure all Marketing activities meet with the standards of legal, regulatory compliance and governance and to comply with all relevant guidelines, statutory acts, and internal compliance policies.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications (MarComm) and other internal stakeholders on all product and campaign collaterals and messaging.
Align marketing strategies with the senior manager/Head of Department (HOD) in order to achieve qualitative and quantitative business goals.
Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
Experience: Relevant experience in product marketing, digital marketing, or distribution channel management, preferably within the financial services or Islamic banking industry.
Core Competencies:
Proven experience in driving Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies.
Strong analytical skills for consumer behavior analysis, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, and campaign fulfillment.
Excellent communication and training skills for engaging and supporting nationwide distribution channels.
Must be detail-oriented with a strong commitment to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
