Key responsibilities:

This role is to manage Interdisciplinary Collaboration Core (ICC) courses and provide administrative support to Deputy Director as follows:

PGR ICC

  • Plan and organize ICC courses, workshop/seminars and activities.

  • Plan class timetabling, including booking of class venues.

  • Work with Colleges/Schools and course instructors (internal/external) on arrangement of class allocation and teaching assignments.

  • Point of contact and support to students and schools on all matters related to ICC courses, including liaising with other relevant offices.

  • Handle and manage ICC courses registration and to arrange students from various disciplines in every ICC class.

  • Monitor class attendances.

  • Handle students’ results including arrangement of meeting for Board of Examiners to finalise students’ results.

  • Manage all payments to course instructors.

  • Manage any other administrative matters related to ICC courses.

Administrative Support

  • Prepare reports, slides, correspondence for meetings and presentation and minutes taking.

  • Coordinate with Schools, offices, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

  • A recognized university degree (in any discipline).

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience preferably in the tertiary education sector.

  • Excellent planning and organization skills.

  • Possess good communication and writing skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application software.

  • People-oriented and a team player.
