Job Overview

The Assistant Manager - Finance will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, statutory governance, and operational finance activities.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role ensures adherence to IND AS and Indian tax regulations while aligning with global accounting standards. The position will also drive ERP implementations and process enhancements to support efficient, scalable, and compliant finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review IND AS–compliant financial statements, including notes to accounts, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and GL schedules.

  • Manage all direct and indirect tax compliance: corporate tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, GST, SEZ compliance, TDS, and ROC filings.

  • Lead internal, statutory, and SOX audits by coordinating with auditors, addressing observations, and strengthening internal controls.

  • Oversee treasury operations including cash flow management, liquidity planning, intercompany receivables, vendor payments, and payroll accounting.

  • Collaborate with the company secretary to prepare board meeting materials and stakeholder reports with clear KPI narratives.

  • Lead ERP implementation projects to automate and standardize financial reporting and processes across entities.

  • Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, reporting systems, and internal controls for greater efficiency and accuracy.

  • Monitor regulatory changes in finance and taxation and implement required adjustments in processes or reporting.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Admin, HR, Business Operations) to ensure adherence to finance policies and controls.

  • Facilitate effective communication between global and local finance teams to ensure transparency and consistency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • CA Completed or equivalent qualification preferred.

  • Experience in corporate finance, taxation, and compliance, preferably within a multinational or GCC environment.

  • Strong knowledge of IND AS, Income Tax compliance, transfer pricing, GST, SEZ regulations, and statutory filings.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and financial modeling.

  • Demonstrated experience in ERP implementation and process automation.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.

  • Proactive approach to regulatory updates and continuous process improvement.
