Job Description
Responsibilities:
You will support the Operations Manager in managing effective operations and maintenance of our retail mall.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E & Building Systems, including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, lifts/escalators, plumbing, and BMS
Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and energy usage
Oversee daily operations, troubleshoot faults, and respond to tenant feedback with root cause analysis and corrective actions
Manage maintenance contracts, procurement processes, and vendor performance in compliance with technical and safety standards
Support asset enhancement initiatives (AEI), upgrading works, and equipment lifecycle replacement
Review and manage tenant fit-out and renovation works, including technical submissions and testing & commissioning
Provide technical support for mall operations and events
Supervise technicians and contractors to ensure high standards of engineering operations
Part of Company Emergency Response Team (i.e. Site Incident Controller, First Aider, etc),
Support Environmental Health Safety (EHS) compliance, including Permit-to-Work (PTW), risk assessments, and safety audits
Carry out duties such as ECO Manager, Assistant FSM/ FSM or any other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager from time to time
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) / Real Estate / Facilities / Building / Estate Management
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar position
Exhibit strong initiative, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Able to work within tight timelines, resourceful and systematic in resolving problems
Good communication skills
Willing to learn and open to possible lateral movements between asset classes in the future (based on business needs)
Due to operational and mall requirements, the role may require response outside of office hours in the event of emergencies.
