OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- To conduct all instrumentation and electrical maintenance at plant level
- To assist Engineering Manager in driving new projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance
- Reporting to the plant head/Engg in charge and responsible for maintenance of all electrical and instrumentation aspects of plant
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; and requesting special services.
- Generate downtime analysis log and maintain history for all equipment’s.
- To attend breakdown in bottling, blending & utility areas.
- Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
- Maintain records for AMC in terms of service reports, spare consumption & renewals.
- Extend support to all departments in running smooth plant operations.
- Monitor closely spare consumption & maintain inventory for critical spare.
- Technical negotiations with prospective suppliers.
- Identifying bottlenecks and de-bottle-necking.
- Maintain electrical/ instrumentations stores and inventory for critical items.
- Ensure that all utilities are maintained and function at optimum efficiencies.
- Energy audits and implementation of energy saving measures at the plant.
- Prepare proposals/ presentations for techno-commercially-viable options.
- Thoroughly study the engineering aspect of given project & prepare technical documentation.
- Project proposal preparation.
- Supervise the site execution activities involving electrical / instrumentation related work.
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
- Knowledge of Kaizen, Poka Yoke, 5S, ISO 9001, HACCP
- Hands on experience of working on shop floor.
- Manage electrician & fitters shift schedule & work allocation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical/ Instrumentation).
EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
- A target oriented and self driven individual with a high sense of achievement to accomplish departmental and self goals.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Computer literate – conversant with MS Office and related tools – preferably fluent with Excel (spreadsheets).
- Good communication and presentation skills.
