Assistant Manager, Asia Finance Transformation

The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in supporting Asia Finance Transformation by overseeing a portfolio of finance initiatives and driving process redesign efforts to improve efficiency, control, and scalability. The role combines program governance, business analysis, and process optimization to ensure transparent reporting, strong execution discipline, and alignment across workstreams and stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a centralized, portfolio-level view of all finance transformation initiatives across markets and shared services, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and resourcing.

  • Coordinate regularly with project leads, SMEs, and functional stakeholders to collect progress updates, validate reporting accuracy, and ensure documentation quality and consistency, while also keeping track that proper communication and change‑enablement activities are applied across all initiatives.

  • Prepare executive-level dashboards, consolidated status reports, SteerCo materials and program-level RAID logs.

  • Facilitate governance routines, including agenda setting, documentation, and follow-up.

  • Identify cross-project risks and interdependencies and support development of mitigation plans.

  • Track KPIs and transformation benefits.

  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and simplification.

  • Analyze existing finance workflows to identify pain points, control gaps, manual activities, and optimization opportunities.

  • Lead end-to-end process mapping, ensuring transformed processes align with regional and global standards.

  • Conduct discussions with process owners to gather requirements and validate root causes.

  • Translate business needs into requirements for technology teams; support solution design and testing.

  • Prepare documentation including SOPs, process maps, and training materials.

  • Support change-management activities including impact assessments, communications, and readiness checks.

  • Enable capability building for teams engaged in process redesign by ensuring proper hand-offs and trainings.

  • Coordinate rollout plans for redesigned processes across markets.

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess adoption and identify improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in finance transformation, PMO, shared services, or process improvement.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and experience preparing leadership-ready materials.

  • Technology‑savvy, with strong proficiency in Excel and experience using visualization/automation tools; hands‑on experience with Power BI is preferred.
