Assistant Maintenance Manager (Industrial / Manufacturing)
 

We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support multi-site operations (local sites, including Oakley, CA and American Canyon, CA) in a high-volume distribution and production environment, ensuring equipment reliability, uptime, and operational performance across locations.
 

This role is focused on leading maintenance execution, supporting production-critical systems, and driving continuous improvement across automated and material handling equipment.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support multi-site maintenance operations, ensuring safe, reliable performance of conveyors, robotics, and automated systems.

  • Prioritize and manage preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain throughput.

  • Lead daily team execution, including work planning, safety briefings, and technician support.

  • Conduct equipment and site inspections to identify failure risks and performance gaps.

  • Analyze maintenance data (uptime, downtime, repair trends) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

  • Develop and coach maintenance teams, reinforcing accountability, skill development, and performance standards.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing operations.

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in maintenance, production, or distribution environments.

  • Experience with automated equipment, conveyors, or robotics systems preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage multi-site or high-volume operations.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
     

Compensation & Schedule

  • $95,000 – $116,000 + 10% bonus

  • Flexible schedule with multi-site and on-call support

The compensation for the position is: $ 98,600.00 - $116,000.00
