What this job involves:
The Assistant Facilities Manager supports the Facility Manager in delivering comprehensive property operations and maintenance services. This role encompasses customer service excellence, financial management, facility maintenance oversight, procurement processes, and supplier relationship management. You'll work closely with key client representatives to help achieve their corporate real estate goals while ensuring smooth day-to-day facility operations.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Maintaining client satisfaction through effective delivery of Facility Management services and supporting programs that enhance customer experience
• Supporting compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle's audit standards and operational policies across facility management, financial management, and procedural requirements
• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reviewing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) monthly to identify challenges and implement corrective actions
• Enforcing company safety policies, training requirements, and efficient work practices throughout facility operations
• Implementing and monitoring hazard control measures and team safety practices while ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and JLL operations standards
• Collaborating with the account team to drive development and implementation of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) best practices and innovations
• Managing work orders for in-house staff and vendors as necessary
• Supporting facility soft services including meeting preparations, conference room reservations, food services, parking management, vending, and badging systems
• Performing additional duties and tasks as assigned
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
• Minimum of two years of industry experience in corporate facilities, third-party service provider environment, or consulting role
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities
• Strong computer proficiency
• Effective managerial and leadership capabilities
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and organize responsibilities effectively to achieve portfolio goals
• Basic knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree
Salary: $54,400 - $78,900 / year
The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data
