Job Description Summary
A key member of the Intermediary sales team in Hong Kong.
The person will manage the relationship with prospective clients and distributors to grow the assets under management
.
- Being a key member to support Hong Kong intermediary business; primary focus on consumer channels, and support private banks
- Establish strong relationship with distributors and identify new business opportunities to achieve the sales target
- Obtain good understanding of the intermediary landscape, distributor profiles and requirements;
- Develop and implement sales strategies with distributors and support the fund launch campaign
- Manage all aspects of client enquiries and provide quality account service
- Prepare and conduct product presentations to the clients and investors
- Work closely with client portfolio managers and investment teams; able to develop and articulate the investment solutions to clients
- Coordinate client events and fund launch campaign with client service, product and marketing teams
- Being a player in achieving team’s business goals, collaborating with other regional teams on global and regional accounts

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- -8 years of working experience in intermediary business within the asset management industry
- Proven record in asset raising and account management with distributors
- Being pro-active and self-motivated to support the business
- Excellent communication skills including fluent Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Team player with strong ability to develop working relationships with colleagues across the business
- Bachelor’s Degree required, major in finance/CFA is preferred
- SFC License type 1
