Assistant Director of Admissions and Marketing, EMBA and IBP Dubai | McDonough School of Business - Georgetown University

 

The Assistant Director, Admissions and Marketing, at Dubai Georgetown McDonough supports all activities related to recruitment, marketing and admissions for the EMBA Dubai and IBP Dubai programs to ensure that we meet enrollment goals. The Assistant Director also partners with the internal marketing teams on the Graduate & Executive Degree Programs team and central MarComm team as well as the external marketing firms to support marketing efforts including paid advertising campaigns.

Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing marketing, recruitment and admissions plans

  • Supporting all aspects of recruiting outreach including managing and executing the lead and applicant journey (answering all emails, telephone calls, and walk-in inquiries) and creating and implementing all procedures for recruitment outreach and follow-up with prospects.

  • Supporting the admissions process – document review, first reads and interview scheduling

  • Ensuring that all marketing content materials (both printed and online) are up to date.

  • Creating and executing the email communication strategy, including  writing and sending emails within our marketing automation platform.

  • Liaising with our external marketing firm to review and monitor paid advertising campaigns. This includes overseeing the execution of digital, social, search, programmatic, out-of-home, sponsored content, and streaming campaigns

Work Interactions

This position reports to the Director of Admissions and Business Development and interacts on an on-going basis with prospective and enrolling students by providing information in a professional and persuasive manner.

This position interacts with the Academic Directors of the EMBA Dubai and IBP Dubai programs to ensure the efficient flow of recruitment and admissions information and participation in recruitment-related events, the Associate Dean of Graduate and Executive Degree Programs Admissions on recruitment, admissions and marketing our Dubai based programs and the internal marketing communications team on the Graduate & Executive Degree Programs admissions team on email marketing automation.

The candidate will manage outside vendors for contracts (e.g., catering, marketing vendors). The Assistant Director will also coordinate with various Georgetown University departments, such as program operations, and marketing and communications. It is essential that this individual be professional and knowledgeable about the MSB’s offerings to best guide prospects during their exploratory journey

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience

  • Critical ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute with strong attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal abilities and strong team orientation required. Must be able to work with various constituencies including prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

  • Substantial working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.

  • Marketing and events-related experience

  • The incumbent must physically reside in Dubai or be willing to relocate to Dubai at their own expense.

  • An attested degree is a requirement for a UAE employment visa.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education/admissions environment is highly desirable

  • Familiarity with a marketing automation tool like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo and/or a CRM tool like Salesforce preferred

  • Comfort in working directly with executives at all levels and a desire to engage with international cultures

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:

$47,586.00 - $87,558.13

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
