What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with designers to support daily tasks and seasonal initiatives
  • Manage color and bill of materials data in Flex PLM
  • Apply seasonal color direction to prints and patterns
  • Assist in building trend-driven concepts and color palettes
  • Create visual line summaries that showcase our product stories

Responsibilities

  • Strategy (Product Aesthetic, Seasonal Concept Direction):
    • Assists design team with the construction of seasonal color palettes.
    • Assists in building presentation and concept boards.
    • Contributes to seasonal trend direction / seasonal trend presentation and seasonal trend deck and vendor deck.
  • Market Research Aesthetic Inspiration and Trend:
    • Conducts market research primarily via web and visiting local stores.
  • Core Work:
    • Tools and Systems Management: Flex PLM and BOM (Bill of Materials) responsibilities with focus on design deadlines relating to seasonal M2M (Mind to Market) calendar.
    • Creates and updates visual line plan using Photoshop and Illustrator
    • Maintains trim libraries
    • Assists designers in coloring surface patterns
    • Sends prints and selected surface pattern to mills to develop
    • Approves trim lab dips and material strike offs, etc.
    • May attend fit sessions for training purposes
    • May help to support 3D design in CLO3D

Skills & Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent required
  • Clear and concise communication – both oral and written
  • Team player/collaboration
  • High level of attention to detail
