Role and Responsibility:
Corporate Reporting & Analysis
The Analyst acts as the primary conduit for information flowing upward to the parent company.
Key responsibilities include:
Work directly with the VP Operations, Head of Finance and Group Controller of Modyo. This role ensures the BU's story is told accurately through numbers.
Monthly Reporting: Help the Head of Finance of Modyo in setting up and analyzing monthly BU reporting packages, ensuring all variances are explained and GAAP/IFRS standards are met.
Forecasting: Help the VP Operations to build, track and analyze the Forecast. This involves stress-testing assumptions, explaining variances and providing a bridge between actuals and forecasts.
Rev Rec Compliance: Review and help prepare reports on billing and Time Spent (POC) for Professional Services revenue and Maintenance revenue to ensure revenue recognition is accurate and aligned with corporate policy.
Help with EVP report data compilation and support in the analysis.
CSI Audit Coordination of the BU: Serve as the lead point of contact for CSI global auditors during the annual audit, preparing work papers, and resolving queries related to the BU.
Review and prepare the Business Unit monthly report setup and analysis
Business Unit Operational Support
While corporate needs the data, the BU needs the analysis and insight.
The Analyst spends significant time assisting local management with:
Become the right hand of the Head of Accounting & Finance of Modyo.
General Ledger: Help the Head of Finance to review and prepare General Ledger and closing of financial statements.
Variety of tasks in local finance and accounting to help Head of Accounting, from invoicing to input of general entries in local ERP Softland during the month.
Reporting and Analysis: Help VP Operations + VP Sales + Head of Finance to prepare and analyze reporting of: Attrition + Bookings + Backlog + WIP
Local Audit Coordination: Serve as the lead point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit, preparing work papers, and resolving queries.
NPI tracking and calculation
Contract Summary: Maintain the master file of all active contracts, including key invoicing triggers, terms, renewals, price escalation clauses.
What you need:
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Excel. Ideally background in Accounting and/or
Finance. Experience in ERP systems of CSI.
Disciplined and organized.
Analytical skills.
High Attention to Detail.
Ability to work under pressure. Capability to drive deadlines and data accuracy.
Adaptability: The ability to switch between "Audit Mode" (compliance-focused) and & quot;Partner Mode" (growth-focused).
Interpersonal skills to work with the team at the BU and the Finance team in Saphir.
Fluent in both Spanish and English
