As a Finance professional, you will manage controllership activities for Korea legal entities. This role ensures local statutory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and operational excellence. We are looking for a forward-thinking professional who can bridge traditional accounting with modern Digital Transformation to enhance finance efficiency.

How You'll Create Possibilities

1. Financial Control & Reporting

  • Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end closing activities, including sub-ledger closure and general ledger (GL) control.
  • Partner with the Regional Shared Service Center (SSC) to ensure accuracy in accounting entries and financial hygiene.
  • Oversee Account Reconciliation and monitor month-end accruals for unbooked costs.
  • Manage Treasury, AP, and Fixed Asset (FA) activities in collaboration with regional teams.

 

2. FP&A & Business Partnership

  • Manage headcount and "Cost Plus" billing processes, including tracking and accounting for receipts.
  • Submit monthly estimates and provide ad-hoc analysis on Risks & Opportunities (R&O).
  • Prepare team-level budgets, track actual vs. budget variance, and report to stakeholders.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and reallocate resources for critical, non-forecasted activities.

 

3. Digital Transformation & Process Excellence

  • Drive Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives within the finance function to streamline legacy processes.
  • Lead or support AI-driven automation projects (e.g., automated reporting dashboards) to improve data accuracy and productivity.
  • Oversee travel and expense reimbursement processes via Concur, seeking continuous workflow improvements.

Serve as the Finance approver for PR/PO processes, ensuring compliance and budget alignment.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Multinational Corporation (MNC). Background in Controllership or FP&A is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and basic understanding of local tax filings.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good working knowledge of SAP.
  • Quick learner, proactive problem-solver, and a "change agent" who thrives in a rapidly changing environment.
  • English and/or Chinese: Professional working proficiency (Ability to communicate effectively in a business context) is required. Fluent level is not mandatory but must be comfortable with cross-border collaboration.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or strong interest in Digital Transformation (DX) and AI automation projects.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or automation tools (e.g., Python) is a significant plus.
