Job Description

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor and manage hotel financial performance by tracking KPIs, coaching teams, and protecting assets.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivables, revenue reporting, and payroll.
  • Partner with hotel leaders to deliver budget forecasts, labor reviews, and insightful financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and tax regulations while preparing for audits and month-end close.
  • Jump in for the Area Controller when needed and lead accounting training initiatives to keep skills sharp.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of hotel accounting experience—because knowing the ropes helps you keep the books balanced and the team on track.
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience)—a solid foundation for financial leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, income audit, and general ledger—critical to ensure daily accuracy and end-of-month success.
  • Tech-savvy with intermediate Excel skills—spreadsheets are your playground.
  • Bonus points for experience with Sage300, ProfitSage, Workday, and POS/PMS systems—they make our operations hum.
