Job Description
Instructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of swimming, coaches technique and strategy for both the Men's and Women's Swim teams. Assists in selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment. Monitors academic progress of student athletes; audits information from academic support services, ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations.
Assists coaching staff in all aspects of managing office and all logistical and operational needs. Needs include but are not limited to travel, scheduling, equipment management, camp operations and administrative duties. Also assists Head Coaches in budget development and oversees purchasing and expenses. Coordinates correspondence for the programs related to recruiting and public relations. Serves as liaison for the programs with departmental and campus offices, booster and charity organizations and alumni needs. Coordinates special events and community involvement.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience coaching the sport of swimming required; ability to communicate and work with a diverse population required; knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations desired.

Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
