Major Duties:
Qualifications: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Education: Requires current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN), with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Verification of credentials must be provided. Leadership & Service Focus: Hands-on leadership style with a strong emphasis on customer service and hospitality. Skill in applying nutritional knowledge to ensure menus meet nutrition standards. Ability to utilize Evidence-Based Nutrition Practice Guidelines to develop, implement, and coordinate best practices and to ensure compliance. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and experienced with POS systems. Certifications & Credentials: ServSafe certification required (or must be obtained within 90 days of hire). A current, valid REAL ID is required to work with the Veterans Canteen Service.
