Assistant Beverage Manager - The Cosmopolitan

As an Assistant Beverage Manager at The Cosmopolitan, you will play a key role in supporting a dynamic and trend-forward beverage program across a variety of vibrant bar environments. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operational functions, ensuring consistency in execution, product quality, and service standards while helping the team navigate a fast-paced, ever-evolving atmosphere. You will work closely with leadership to develop and support team members, maintain readiness across outlets, and uphold brand expectations. With a strong sense of guest engagement and operational awareness, you will contribute to an experience that is both efficient and distinctive, reflecting the energy and style of The Cosmopolitan.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department

• Direct smooth, efficient, cost-effective operation, including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, scheduling and inventory control

• Manage delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes

• Provide management support in the oversight of assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality service to the guests

• Coordinate the requisition process and stocking of beverage outlets to maximize revenue for the division

• Provide guidance and counsel to beverage employees, ensure the staff is scheduled properly

• Provide recommendations to management on daily operational issues

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in Food and Beverage

• Previous experience working in a similar luxury resort setting preferred

• Previous experience managing employees under a Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred
