ASSISTANT AIRFIELD MANAGER

Major Duties:

  • You will capture and track division performance metrics and ensure associated systems/databases are current and accurate.
  • You will assist in identifying requirements for the Regional Airfield Manager to support manpower, transportation, financial, and facilities, etc.
  • You will advise when to open or close the airfield to air traffic based on facility, personnel, or equipment capabilities.
  • You will assist in managing Airfield Management Division administrative processes and in developing organizational goals and objectives
  • You will implement management policies and practices.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Perform in managing oversight of numerous airfield ground activities to maintain safety and procedural integrity of the airfield facility.
