Assistant Accountant (Fixed Term)

Air Liquide Healthcare Australia are a leading and dedicated supplier of medical gases, homecare and sleep services. We specialise in respiratory diseases and have a strong reputation in sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy.

Help in providing a complete record of financial transactions over the life of a given financial scope. Help in holding account information needed to prepare financial statements & include accounts for assets, liabilities, owners' equity, revenues & expenses.
INCLUDE : General Ledger / Tax / Fixed Asset / Cash accounting

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Main Accountabilities 1. Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets 2. Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets. 3. Assign tag numbers to fixed assets 4. Furnish fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system 5. Determine depreciation for all fixed assets 6. Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries 7. Perform other duties assigned by line managers Differentiating Criteria Report to: Supervisor-3 Decision Making/ Activity: - General ledger account analyses and reconciliations; - Preparation and posting of journal entries; - Determine depreciation for all fixed assets - Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets

Are you a MATCH?

1. Technical degree in Accounting 2. 3-5 years experience 3. Familiar with MS office and ERP system / Understanding of general accounting matters
